Web Project Manager
Native Instinct is looking for a Project Manager to manage Web design and development projects. This is an opportunity to work with a small, extremely experienced, multi-disciplinarian team of creative, editorial, technical and product management professionals. You will be managing the definition, design and development of complex interactive products for our clients in the fields of consumer social networking, e-commerce, retail, technology and financial services. This is a contract position with the potential to migrate to a full-time employee position.
You’ll need to work on site at our offices in South Park in San Francisco, or occasionally on site with our clients located throughout the Bay Area.
Responsibilities:
- Work with information architects, graphic designers, content strategists, and technical team members to mange the successful design, development and delivery of interactive products
- Solve business issues with creative solutions
- Create and maintain project schedules. Ensure that projects run on schedule and on budget.
- Write weekly status reports
- Run team meetings and client meetings
- Interact with clients on a day-to-day basis
- Accountable for client satisfaction
- Assist with the development of standard processes and documents for re-use by the company
- Assist with the writing of project proposals and statements of work
Requirements:
- B.A. or B.S. degree
- Passion for organization and attention to detail
- 1+ years of experience working in Web design and development
- Experience working at an interactive agency and working with teams of people (editorial, design, technical, quality assurance, project management) to deliver complex interactive products.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and multiple tasks
- Daily Web user familiar with popular sites, business issues and trends in the Internet industry.
- Understanding of consumer interface design, limitations and benefits of existing Web technologies
- Understanding of online advertising market a big plus
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Project
- Knowledge of HTML and Photoshop is a plus
- Good verbal communication. Comfortable interacting directly with clients.
- Ability to problem-solve in a group scenario
